An Olde Town Halloween - Oct. 31
Thousands of children and families traditionally converge on the streets of Olde Town Conyers for a night of trick-or-treating. Main Street will be closed off for trick-or-treaters from Glade Street to Rosser Street on Oct. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., with the help of Conyers Police Department Auxiliary.

Fall Festival - Oct. 31
Conyers First United Methodist church will hold its Fall Festival on Oct. 31, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Activities include a hay ride, inflatables, and and trunk or treating. Located at 921 North Main Street.

Trunk or Treating - Oct. 31
St. Pius X Catholic Church will hold an evening of trunk-or-treating on Oct. 31; 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cars with Bible themes and people in Bible-themed costumes can enter to win a prize. Located at 2621 Ga. Highway 20.

Costume Contest - Oct. 31
Whistlepost Tavern in Olde Town will hold a costume contest for children ages 12 under for customers who purchase a meal. Prize is a $25 gift certificate. Contest starts at 4:30 p.m. 935 Railroad Street Northwest, Conyers. (770) 785-5008

Safe Halloween - Oct. 31 The city of Covington Public Safety and Main Street Covington will host their Safe Halloween event from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the square in downtown Covington. (770) 385-2077.

Family Fall Festival - Oct. 31
Eagles Landing First Baptist Church located in McDonough will be hosting their free Halloween event for family and friends from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This event will include festival rides, carnival games, a puppet show and a plethora of other games for children of all ages. (770) 957-1355.

Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt - Oct. 31
A trick or treat scavenger hunt at the Decatur library from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Children of all ages are welcomed to attend this event. Each child will pick up a clue sheet at the Children's Desk where they will then travel through the library answering clues and receiving goodies while supplies last. Each child must be accompanied by an adult and costumes are welcome. (404) 370-8450.

Sanctuary Baptist Church - Oct. 31
The Sanctuary Baptist Church located in Loganville will host a Christian themed event for children from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. They will have games and candy for kids of all ages, turning Halloween backward and offering a Christian fill to the Halloween holiday. (770) 466-7799
