The sounds of drums and horns will fill the air Saturday, Oct. 22, as Rockdale County High School hosts the 34th Annual Greater Atlanta Marching Festival.

The competition begins at noon with 18 marching bands coming from all over the state to compete against each other in the longest running marching band festival in the state of Georgia.

Hosts RCHS will perform in exhibition around 9 p.m. Heritage High School will be competing in the weekend’s event.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 under 12 years old, children under 3 years old are free. Proceeds go to RCHS marching band for equipment and uniforms.
