Rockdale County residents gathered last Saturday, April 7, to clean up the county.

The day-long event, which the Keep Conyers/Rockdale Beautiful Board co-hosted with the city of Conyers and Rockdale County, was held at Pine Log Park in Conyers. 

Some main goals of the event were to pick up garbage, tires and other debris around the community, teach young people about the importance of litter prevention and recycling as much of the materials collected as possible.
