Mary Gladys James, age 89 of Conyers, died Saturday, June 18, 2011.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Ralph Eugene James.  She is survived by her son, Joe James, Conyers; sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Carol James, Heflin, AL, Tony and Jone James, Conyers; sister, Serita Skelton, Conyers; grandchildren, Libba James, Scott James, Ryan James and Keri Little;  great-grandchildren, Davis Little, Peyton Little, Frankie James and Wilson James and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. James was of the Primitive Baptist faith and was the manager of Gailey’s Bargain Store.  The family will receive friends Monday, June 20, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:30 at the funeral home.  A graveside service will be held immediately following at East View Cemetery with Rev.
