2012 Open House Schedule
Open houses will be held for RCPS students the following nights:
Monday, July 23 - 9th Grade and New Students
Heritage, Rockdale County and Salem high schools, 6 – 8 p.m.
Tuesday, July 24 - Elementary Schools
Barksdale, Flat Shoals, CJ Hicks, Hightower Trail, Honey Creek, JH House, Lorraine, Peeks Chapel all 5 – 7 p.m.
Pine Street 4 – 7 p.m.
Shoal Creek 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Sims 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.– 7 p.m.
Wednesday, July 25 - Middle Schools
Conyers, Davis, Edwards and Memorial middle schools, 4 – 7 p.m.
Thursday, July 26 - High Schools
Heritage, Rockdale County and Salem high schools (Grades 10 - 12), Rockdale Magnet School for Science and Technology (Grades 9 - 12), Rockdale Career Academy and Open Campus, all 5 – 8 p.m.
Freshmen and their nervous parents toured their new high schools Monday evening during the Freshmen Open House events at Salem, Heritage, and Rockdale County High School. Here are a few scenes.
