Freezing rain may be coming to central and north Georgia for Friday morning.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City issued a Freezing Rain Advisory for Friday, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. for areas including Atlanta, Conyers and Covington.

A cold front moving through the southeast will bring precipitation to the area, and cold air at the surface, especially along the north Georgia mountains, will bring freezing rain and sleet. 

Accumulations may be 0.01 to 0.1 inches of ice.
