The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a flood warning for the Yellow River near Conyers, below Milstead.

"Recent heavy rainfall across the area has caused significant runoff into streams and rivers, causing the rivers to rise. some points along the river system will experience flooding," read the warning.

About .65 inch of rain at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport .74 inch in downtown Atlanta and 1.03 inches fell in Peachtree City through 5 a.m.

The Suwanee Creek near Suwanee, Oconee River near Penfield, and Big Creek near Alpharetta have also been named in flood warnings.
