UPDATE: Flat Shoals Road, between Ga. Highway 138 and Parker Road in Conyers, will be closed on Saturday due to filming for "Prisoners," starring Hugh Jackman. The portion of the road will be closed from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.

The shoot will involve stunt scenes with car crashes and a character being chased out of the woods and into the road.

"Road closure is necessary to maintain control of the set and the perimeter," said Rockdale-Conyers Camera Ready liason Gina Hartsell. The shoot was originally scheduled for Thursday and Friday but rescheduled due to several factors including weather.

"We appreciate the support, cooperation, and patience of the community to work through these challenges and we are looking forward to seeing the finished film later this year."

The film is directed by Dennis Villeneuve and features an impressive cast - Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Viola Davis, Melissa Leo, Paul Dano. Jackman is a small town carpenter who takes the law into his own hands and kidnaps his daughter's kidnapper. Despite its' name, the film is not a prison movie.

The Warner Brothers distributed film is shooting mostly in Conyers from Jan. 16 - March 26.
