Cancer warriors from across Rockdale joined forces Saturday for the 2014 Rockdale County Relay for Life, 10 a.m to 10 p.m. at 1400 Parker Road.

About 42 teams and 303 participants raised at least $52,214. The top raising teams were Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (about $7,862), Trinity Baptist Church (about $6,833), and Acuity Brands 2014 (about $4,515). The top raising individuals were Ray Allen, Charles Mason, and Lynda Kimm.
