Brides and their wedding entourage are invited to walk down the aisle to find perfect vendors for their big day, win a number of blissful prizes and finalize the details of their wedding during a bridal fair in Conyers this weekend.

Blushing beauties and their wedding day team are welcome to attend The Rockdale and Covington News’ annual Bridal Fair and Fashion Show from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Georgia International Horse Park’s Carriage Room this Sunday, March 3.

Caterers, florists, photographers, salons, bakeries, venue sites, musicians, event design companies and more will fill the venue with wedding inspiration, style and design for brides to gather ideas and resources for their glamorous one-day event.

After brides are smitten with wedding day motivation and concepts, they will have the chance to view spring and summer fashions for their entire wedding party during the fashion show, which will kick off at 2:30 p.m.

Candlelight Bridals by Gigi will be supplying the majority of looks for the fashion show, accessorized by Stella and Dot jewelry and Poshissimo by Patty. Men's looks will be provided by Belk and Savvi Formalwear. Bridal coifs and make-up will be styled by La Ritz and Chad’s Salon.

Just as a bouquet of flowers is tossed to reward the next bride to be, multiple prizes from several exhibitors will be up for grabs during the fair. Brides will have the chance to snag a stay at the historic Twelve Oaks Bed & Breakfast in Covington or a groom’s cake from Cakes & Desserts Cafe by Diva’s Delites, beauty and home baskets from Belk, Stella & Dot jewelry, and a host of gift certificates and special offers from Chad's Salon, Savvi Formalwear, Poshissimo, to name a few.

Admission for Sunday’s one-stop shop bridal fair is $10 at the door or the donation of a formal dress in good condition for girls and women in need. A portion of the proceeds will go to Rockdale Emergency Relief’s Clothes Closet.

The first 10 bride-elects who submit their name and their groom’s name, wedding date and “share the event” page link will receive complimentary admission to the event.
