Electronics recycling day set for June 6

County residents and business can do a little electronics spring cleaning with Keep Conyers-Rockdale Beautiful. The organization is hosting an electronic recycling drive Saturday, June 6, 8 a.m. - noon at the Government Annex building, 1400 Parker Road.

Electronics, with the exception of television, will be recycled at no charge and volunteers will be on hand to help unload items. A $10 fee will be charged for each television. Items will be accepted, regardless of working condition. Console and projection televisions will not be accepted.

Computer monitors, computer CPUs, laptops, printers, cell phones, disk drives, keyboards, floppy drives, record players, typewriters, fax machines, eight-track players, microwaves, stereos, copiers, video machines, VCRs, camcorders, cameras, circuit boards, UPS/battery back-ups, projectors, computer mice, telephones, CB radios, scanners, CD ROMs, test and network equipment, electronic games, and televisions will be accepted.
