Davis Middle School's softball team was recognized at the Dec. 15 Rockdale County Board of Education meeting as the winners of the NewRock league championship game: Addy Allegretti, Jordan Browning, Sydney Driver, Lexi Duncan, Kaila Gabaree, Skylar Harrison, Jaimie Hoover, Kennedy Lester, Kayla Phillips, Erin Schroeder, Kamryn Toney, Morgan Whiten, Ania Kiett, Barb McClain, and Kim Kammerer.
