The 2010 class of the Conyers Police Department Citizens Academy graduated from an 8-week course educating ordinary residents on the work of law enforcement at the Conyers City Council meeting on Dec. 1. The Academy had been revived after a hiatus.

Participants were, in no particular order: Alena Parker, BJ, Christie Davis, Crystal Whitt, Donald Bryant, Tracy Williams, Jack Blanchette, Jim Scarlett, Kathy Lawrence, Lamar Sims, Larry Duncan, Debbie Duncan, LaTrina Clark, Michelle Kim, Pat Siwick, Phil Gandy, Steven Holmes, Susan Fleming, William Emofonmwan, Tawiah Sanders. Program directors were Officers Thomas Owen and Officer Debbie Krisher. Also pictured in front is CPD Chief Gene Wilson.
