One lucky Conyers man has won a plate-filling prize of $400,000 from a Georgia Lottery scratch off game.

David Orr of Conyers won playing the instant scratch-off game Cash Clover, which costs $5.

The 21-year-old works in the kitchen of a steakhouse. He received his winning ticket from his supervisor, who purchased it at Monroe Food Mart, 215 Highway 138 in Monroe.

"I'm grateful. I can go to college now," said Orr, who anticipates studying computer science and programming.

More than 1.6 million students have received lottery funded HOPE Scholarship funds in Georgia and more than 1.3 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, lottery funded voluntary prekindergarten program.
