The Conyers Garden Club met at the home of Susan Dodd on Nov. 8 for a program on "Water Features for Your Yard." Hostesses were Barbara Brandon, Martha Clay, and Dodd (pictured). Dodd and her husband recently installed a water feature. She stressed the importance of buying high quality plastic so birds cannot peck a hole and carefully selecting the location of the feature before any digging is done. She described the fun in selecting fish to put in the pool and plants to enhance the feature. Dodd was awarded a Certified Wildlife Habitat designation by the National Wildlife Federation.
