The rivalry that is Heritage vs. Rockdale ended in classic fashion as the Bulldogs got the 28-26 win in stunning fashion.

The game was never out of reach for either side. The Patriots biggest lead was 12 and the Bulldogs' was 10.

Late in the fourth with under two to go, the Bulldogs led 28-20. The Patriots threw a 30 yard strike to get within two.

After pummeling Rockdale's defensive front for much of the game, the Bulldogs answered by stuffing the Pats run attempt on the conversion.

The Bulldogs ran their way to a 28-26 victory, as they begin the season 1-0.
