Local businesses are invited to a training program to learn more about the impacts of the Affordable Care Act.

NUVISION Financial Corporation, Rockdale Medical Center, and the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce will host Health Care Reform University Nov. 5 and Nov. 15. The training will be held at Rockdale Medical Center, located at 1412 Milstead Avenue, at RMC's East Tower in Classroom 2.

Planners designed the Nov. 5 session for small groups, businesses with less than 50 employees. The Nov. 15 session is geared for large groups, or businesses with an employee count of 50 or more.

Cost is $25 per participant and includes breakfast and a personal training notebook.

Anyone planning to participate must RSVP by Oct. 29 for small groups and by Nov. 8 for large groups.

The four-hour training will go over compliance issues and the impact of the law's provisions on employers and employees.

NUVISION Financial Corporation principal Tony Wilson will facilitate the sessions. He is a certified federally-facilitated marketplace broker.

"We developed the HCRU curriculum based on the tremendous feedback we received from our recent Health Care Reform seminar and the numerous follow-up requests we've received for additional information on this issue," Wilson said.

Those interested in the program can RSVP at www.conyers-rockdale.com under the Events tab. For more information on registration, contact Katy Zahradnik at 770-483-7049 or Katy@conyers-rockdale.com
