Two more chances to hear from political candidates will be hosted Saturday, July 21. 

The Rockdale County NAACP, the Progressive Club, and the New Rock Legal Society will sponsor one more forum for political candidates on July 21.

 

Saturday, July 21, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., the forum will hear from candidates for Sheriff, Board of Commissioners, State Senate, and State House of Representatives. The forum is at Peeks Chapel Baptist Church, 3185 Old Salem Road, SE, Conyers, GA 30013. 

Last week, the organizations included candidates for the Board of Education, Superior Court Judge, Magistrate Court Judge, Probate Judge, and Clerk of Court at Bald Rock Baptist Church.

The Rockdale County Think Tank will host their monthly meeting Saturday, July 21, with

The Rockdale County Think Tank, a civic association formed to research local issues and advocacy headed by Josie Dean, will hold its next monthly meeting on Saturday July 21, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

The topic will be the status of the local SPLOST with Elaine Nash and Mike Houchard presenting. 

Commission Chairman candidate Brian Jenkins will field questions.
