Heritage sophomore pitcher Kierra Camp was named Region 8-AAAA pitcher of the year at Saturday's region banquet.

Camp was one of five Patriots selected to the All-region team, including Simone Davenport, who was selected as a first team member.

Nielah Floyd and Kayla Phillips were named to the second team from Heritage, and Diamond Callwood, Taylor Moser
Salem also placed five players on the All-region team, including pitcher Rylee Rogers to the second team.

Taylor Beauchamp, Patricia Clark, Joy Vason and Whitney Lester were named to the All-region second team from the Salem Seminoles.

Rockdale, the lone area team to miss the playoffs this season, was represented by four All-region players.
Breanna Richardson earned second team honores, and Candace Johnson, India Davis and Taylor Johnson were named received honorable mention.
