Many local morning commuters were not running on Dunkin' this morning after a burglar smashed the glass door of the Dunkin Donuts on Salem Road early Tuesday morning.

Employees of the store at 2280 Salem Road discovered the burglary when they arrived for work after 4 a.m. Tuesday. 

Video footage showed what appeared to be a white male throwing a rock through the glass front door.

The suspect entered the building and took out a cash drawer, which reportedly had only a small amount of cash, and left, possibly in a white vehicle. The drawer was later recovered in a yard on Salem Road.
