An evening with Will
Hamlet RG web photo low res

I’m a fan of Shakespeare, always have been – yeah, I was THAT kid in high school; the one who got extra credit for bringing her complete unabridged works to class. Don’t judge me. Maybe because of that geek in me, The New American Shakespeare Tavern is like mother’s milk, but it doesn’t mean you have to be a Brit Lit nerd to enjoy a night out at this joint, the only one like it in America. They have a British pub menu (of course) before their amazing performances, and this month you’ve got a few to look forward to: “Hamlet”and “Rosencratz and Guildenstern are Dead.” Next month you can check out “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” because nothing says summer like naughty fairies. Seriously, even if you aren’t a fan of good ole’ Will, you can still enjoy a performance at Shakespeare’s Tavern, I promise.
