The City of Conyers invites families to have a "Positively Pink" experience during the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival March 22-23, 2014 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Georgia International Horse Park.

The 33rd annual event, presented by Superior Plumbing, celebrates fun, family and tradition among the pink cherry blossoms.

The arts and crafts festival features hundreds of booths and a variety of food booths. A large, interactive children's area provides over 30,000 square feet of rides, games and activities, while multiple stages offer entertainment from diverse cultures along with local bands, karate demonstrations, and clogging groups.

During the 33rd annual festival, performances include the Kinuyo Shinobu Kai, which will present traditional forms of Japanese dance, and Japanese Swordsmanship of Gwinnett, which will demonstrate the art of swordsmanship and martial arts. The festival also offers an array of entertainment like The Graham Family, offering three-part harmony gospel music.

Guests can also participate in the Positively Pink Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win a prize. The first 100 shoppers who visit the Cherry Blossom Festival merchandise booth each day will have the chance to win Blossom Bucks. Blossom Bucks can be used to purchase items from the art and craft exhibitors. Festival-goers are also encouraged to join the 3rd Annual Pink Out. Wear your festival colors for a chance to get "pinked." Guests who stand out and get noticed by a secret judge as one of the best dressed will win a Cherry Blossom Prize Pack.

Food selections include the Genki Noodles and Sushi food truck, Champion Cheesesteaks with everything scrumptious your doctor tells you not to eat; there will also be traditional fair fare such as fried candy bars, fried Oreos, cupcakes, funnel cakes, Gelato, soft-serve ice cream, kettle corn and much more.

Admission to the festival is free but there is a $5 parking fee per vehicle.
