Delta Sigma Theta has created Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence. Through open dialogue and actionable recommendations, EMBODI will advance positive change. Understanding that organized collective action can achieve greater positive impact, Delta Sigma Theta is proud to join numerous other service-oriented associations and individual advocates who are actively engaged in uplifting African-American males.

Over the next year, the Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta will focus on developing and implementing EMBODI program components.

They will be holding their first panel discussion on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, 3001 Old Salem Road, Conyers, Georgia 30013.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority has a 96-year history of proactive public service and have addressed and provided solutions for a multitude of social, health and educational challenges facing the men and women of the African Diaspora.
