Wetlands create an ecosystem where water and land meet; this delicate ecosystem will help improve water quality by filtering toxins and will also provide a habitat for fish and other aquatic wildlife and endangered species.

When this project is completed and open to the public, there will be walkways to stroll down, making you feel like you are a part of nature.

There are many states in this country, including California, which has allowed their valuable wetlands to be taken over by uncontrolled urban growth. Once wetlands are destroyed, they do not come back.

We are fortunate to live in a state and city that recognizes the value of our wetland systems.

We are looking forward the completion of this project. It will be another jewel in the crown that is Covington.
