It's bad enough that we have to deal with a president who seems completely lost on the world stage and with dealing with our country's economy and whose closest advisers are like rats leaving a sinking ship.
But it is just plain nuts for President Obama to sell his respect for the sake of political expediency by his out-of-the-blue decision to start releasing oil from our strategic reserves. This from a man who did nothing as gas soared a few weeks ago to more than $4 a gallon, except to chastise the American public to buy cars that get better gas mileage.
There is no practical reason for this release form our reserves. It will put our country in extreme jeopardy at the expense of his hoped-for political gain.
Now the good news: It's only 71 weeks until the general election on Nov. 6, 2012, when we can vote him out of office.
