The Capital Gazette, like the Covington News, is a community newspaper. Five people there, who work to serve their friends and neighbors, were killed. We are hurting for our colleagues.
The Covington News staff will have active shooter training Monday, July 9. Our office will close at 3:30 p.m. that day.
