September on the square is going to be alive with music every Thursday during the month of September, starting at noon.
Thanks to the Arts Association, United Bank and the city supported Main Street program you can bring your lunch and a lawn chair and for no cost relax to sounds that include rhythm and blues, blue grass, smooth jazz and big band music.
The highlight of the September music blast will be the John Berry Concert, which will be held at 7 p.m. on Sept. 4.
The Fall season is such a pretty time in Newton County, and this month of concerts is a great way to be outdoors, socialize and meet with neighbors, both new and old, to help celebrate this grand time of the year.
