Few things in this life are more important than the raising of a child. Parents literally have the ability to mold a human life and instill a lifetime of attitudes, beliefs and value.

Men and women each have unique roles in the parenting process, but the bond between a mother and child is perhaps the most powerful expression of love we have in this world.

We'd be remiss today if we didn't offer up a special Mother's Day prayer for all of those special moms, who navigate us through life's hardships.

Eventually we find out our mother's aren't perfect, but for so many of us, their mark on our lives is more evident when we experience success than when we succumb to failure.

They have no shortage of stories to share, and though it's often the most difficult times that make for the best stories, behind every story you see the passion of a woman who is so inextricably linked to the life of her child. Moms are truly remarkable.
