Five licks each

Last week eight adults, some parents of children at Oak Hill Elementary School, were arrested at the school awards ceremony because of a disagreement regarding a seat.

How shameful is that?

Since the parents behaved like children, when they go to court may we suggest that the judge send them back over to see the principal of Oak Hill, who could then un-retire the old paddle and give each of them a few whacks.

The Covington News would like to take a moment to remember Mrs. Nancy VanKleeck. We became acquainted with her a few years back while she was asking for information about the jail log. She had a ministry in which she would write letters to inmates telling them about Jesus. She was able to write over 11,000 letters. She was a true woman of character. We will miss her.
