We are pleased to see that the city council of Porterdale is now back up to its full voting strength.
The voters elected Lowell Chambers to fill the vacated spot previously held by Kay Piper.
We wish Mr. Chambers the very best and we urge him to use his good common sense in decisions made as Porterdale struggles in this economy. We especially want to see the council maintain city services, especially an active police force, as well as develop the charming mill village into a profitable venture for the city.
