Vianne Kelly Peay of Oxford passed away December 12, 2015, at the age of 57. A devout Christian, Vianne enjoyed knitting, gardening, reading, following politics and spending time with her children and grandson. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in English from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee. In addition, Vianne was a supporter of Georgia and Newton County 4-H and the Arts Association in Newton County, where she volunteered her time. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Kelly; as well as her maternal grandparents, Roy and Viola Bagwell.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Frank Peay; daughters, Flannery Viola Peay, Angela Warren; son, Charles Patrick Warren; mother, Barbara Bagwell Herndon; grandson, Tyler Warren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tracey and David Dunn, Laurie Kelly, Charlene and Dennis Malecha.
A funeral service for Vianne will be held Thursday, December 17, 2015, 11 a.m., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Pastor Greg Johns officiating. Interment will follow Friday, December 18, 11 a.m., in Greenwood Cemetery, 976 Greenwood Ave., Clarksville, TN.
