On July 15, 1948, Mr. & Mrs. Norris (Daisy) Browning was blessed with a beautiful baby girl, they named her Sharon Alberta Browning. 

At an early age, she joined Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Social Circle, Georgia, where she served in various roles and on various ministries.

In July of 1974, she married Willie Joe Baker. On July 4, 2017, she was called to her eternal home to be with the Lord.

She is preceded in death by both parents; four sisters, Norene Tolase, Annie Griffin, Catherine Browning, Diphine Henderson and one brother, Willie Browning.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Joe Baker; brother, Mr. Norris Browning, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Annie Lois Browning, Mrs. Sarah Atkism, Mrs. Minnie Byrd, Ms. Anne Smith, Ms. Lisa Smith and Ms. Delois Smith; brothers-in-law, Mr. Charles Smith, Mr. George Byrd and Mr. Dola Tolase and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Cornith Missionary Baptist Church, at 813 S. Cherokee Road, in Social Circle with Bishop William Davenport officiating.
