Sally Christian of Covington, passed away November 6, 2009, at the age of 80. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church, in Conyers, and dearly loved her family. Mrs. Christian was preceded in death by her parents, Dozier and Nell Lanning Smithwick; and her sister and brother. Survivors include her husband, Gus Christian; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Anne Lott, Ricky and Sandra Christian, Les and Kathy Christian; grandchildren, Chris F., Chris L., Jeff, Kristy, Mike, Randy, Susan; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Christian will be held Monday, November 9, 2009, 11 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 3134 Floyd St., with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday, November 8, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.
