Rosa Lee Bell of Covington, passed away December 5, 2011, at Newton Medical Center.  She was 87 years of age at the time of her death.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl Patterson and Jesse Bell; parents, Grady and Willie Cleo (Gunn) Dyer; and brother, Robert A Dyer.  Mrs. Bell was a member of Christ Cornerstone Church.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Randy Payne of Lake Oconee; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Linda Patterson of Covington; grandchildren, Dru Payne, Chad Payne, Jeff Bishop, Karen Price, Leslie Brown; 12 great-grandchildren; stepsons, Jimmy Bell, Keith Bell; brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Vernie Dyer of Covington; as well as several nieces and a nephew.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street in Covington, with Pastor Darrell Payne and Pastor David Payne officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at 3134 Floyd Street, Tuesday, December 6, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
