Robert Reginald “Reggie” McIntosh passed away on November 8, 2015 on his 75 birthday after a lengthy illness. Reginald and his family moved to Mansfield in December 1940, when he was just 6 weeks old. He lived his entire life in this location, with only a short time away while serving in the military.  He worked as a trim carpenter, while raising cows and farming. He spent much of his time caring for his pets. He loved music, and earned the nickname “Spooney” from his time playing the spoons with various bands.

Reginald was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Gladys Mann McIntosh, and by his wife Jane. Survivors include his sister, Barbara Phillips, nieces Delores (Jim) Edwards and Joanne (Rick) Willey, grandnieces Caitlin Willey and Krista Willey, and grandnephew Sam Edwards, as well as several cousins and his beloved dogs "Honeybun" and "Snoop".

Funeral services for Mr. McIntosh will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Chapel of J.C Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Mr. Pete Carter officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00pm until the service hour on Thursday.  J.C.
