Ralph Eugene Brown, age 84, of Monroe, died on Dec. 30, 2017. He was born on March 26, 1933 to the late Nellie Mae Phillips Brown and the late William Thomas Brown. He was preceded in death by his sons, the late Ricky Brown, the late Dennis Brown, and the late Jeff Brown.

He is survived by his sister, Laverne Waters of Jersey, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Chandler officiating. Interment followed at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
