Smith

Quida Smith, of Covington passed away January 7, 2013 at Newton Medical Center.  She was born December 18, 1935 in Covington to the late Ben and Viola Sharp Aiken.  Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her first husband Dewitt Talmadge Hamlin Sr. and her second husband Richard Smith and her son Robert Michael Hamlin.  She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law Richard Hamlin and Nancy Preffer and Dewitt Talmadge Hamlin, Jr. along with several step sons and daughters and a number on grandchildren and great grandchildren.  The family will receive friends at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home from 6pm until 8pm on Wednesday, January 9, 2013.  J.C.
