Patt Smith of Covington, passed away April 1, 2015, at the age of 82. Mrs. Smith graduated from Sparks Memorial Hospital in Ft. Smith, AR with her registered nursing degree. She was also affiliated with Charity Hospital in New Orleans. Mrs. Smith retired from Weyerhaeuser where she was an Eastern U.S. in-service manager. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed spending time with family, reading, camping and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Smith; parents, Fred and Gladys Walters; her sisters, Betty and Colene.

Survivors include three children; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Smith was held Friday, April 3, 2015, 2 p.m., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington.
