Mrs. Patricia Jones, age 67, of Covington passed away May 10, 2014.  She was born March 7, 1947 in Sioux City, Iowa and was raised with her four siblings, three of which survive her, by their loving parents Richard and Carol Stevens who has preceded her in death.  Mrs. Jones loved decorating, shopping, especially at Wal-Mart, reading, working on puzzles, and loved spending time with her family.  She recently started working on her family genealogy with her sister, a hobby she truly enjoyed.  Mrs. Jones was of the Methodist faith and a member of Red Oak United Methodist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend.  Mrs. Jones was recently preceded in death by her brother Kerry Stevens.

She is survived by her husband Dan Jones of 40 years and their daughters and sons-in-law Stephanie and Brian Starie of Dunwoody and Jessica and Kent Norsworthy of Dawsonville.  Mrs. Jones is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law Richard and Kathy Stevens of Sioux Falls , SD, Robert and Sharon Stevens of Waldron, AR and Louise Stevens of Emporia, KS, and her sister Nancy Bloodworth of Covington.  Numerous other family and close friends also survive her. 

Memorial services for Mrs. Jones will be held at 11 o’clock Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Miguel Velez-Andujar officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm on Monday, May 12, 2014.  J.C.
