Pat Stowe of Covington, passed away January 17, 2011, at the age of 68. Mrs. Stowe was a faithful member of Cornish Mountain Baptist Church, where she loved playing the piano and organ; and singing with the Gospel Tone Quartet. She was stock transfer agent for the Trust Company of GA for 30 years. Mrs. Stowe enjoyed her attempts at crocheting and sewing; and loved to shop and travel. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus Pennington and Ena Viola (Harper) O'Kelley.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gerald Stowe of Covington; children, Tim and Michelle Stowe, Calvin and Kim Maughon; grandchildren, Hannah Stowe, Holly Stowe, Thomas Maughon, Timothy Maughon, Tatum Maughon; sisters, Polly Epps, Evelyn Shepherd, Pauline Sigman; brother, John O'Kelley; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Stowe will be held Thursday, January 20, 2011, 2:00 PM, at Cornish Mountain Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry Barrett, and Rev. Sammy Stowe officiating, and interment following in Cornish Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd., Wednesday, January 19, from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM.
