Mrs. Runell B. Williams, 101, of Covington, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Covington Manor Nursing Home.  She was born June 30, 1909 in Newton County Georgia to the late James F. and Ethel Ellington Byrd.  Mrs. Williams enjoyed working in her yard gardening and working with flowers.  She was a longtime member of Gum Creek Presbyterian Church.  Mrs. Williams was predeceased by her husband Mr. Aubrey L. Williams and is survived by her Son and Daughter-In-Law; Gerald and Corra Williams of Hoschton, GA. her special niece, Dianne Bentley of Monticello, GA, Sister-In-Law Dorothy Williams of Covington and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Chapel of Harwell Funeral Home with interment to follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.  Flowers are accepted and those desiring may make donations to Gum Creek Presbyterian Church.  Harwell Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel, 2157 East Street SE, Covington, GA 30014 is in charge of arrangements. www.harwellfuneralhome.com
