Obituary       

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Ward was born February 16, 1943, She was born to the parentage of the late Mr. & Mrs. Leroy (Annie Lois) Hill, who preceded her in death.

       Mary attended Washington Street School. She was a very special person and a homemaker, she loved kids and loved to cook.    

      She departed this life on Monday, Novmebr 4, 2013. She was preceded  in death by her husband, Mr. Melvin Ward, one son, Mr. Melvin (June Bug) Ward, one sister, Mrs. Eva Mae Lattimore, two brothers, Mr. Jimmy Lee Hill and Mr. Willie Roy Hill

     Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Ward leaves to cherish her sweet memories, one son, Mr. James Ward, two sisters; Ms. Annie Christian and Mrs. Hattie Lois Horton, three grandsons; Mr. Jerrod Jenkins, Mr. Keosie Horton and Man, three brother-in-laws; Mr. Joe Ward, Mr. J.C. Horton and Mr. Billy Lattimore, one sister-in-law, Mrs. Louise Dixon, special niece, Ms. Annie Benton and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Interment: Church Cemetery
