Obituary
     Mrs. Mary Alice Edwards Greene was born December 14, 1922 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Lewis (Permelia Hawkins) Edwards, in Warren County, North Carolina.

     She married Mr. Richard Hamilton Greene, September 15, 1953 and resided in New York. She worked in the hospitality and hotel industry for more than forty years. She attended Victorious Life Church in Conyers, Georgia. Mrs. Greene was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt.

     She departed this earthly life on October 3, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Richard H. Greene, siblings, Ms. Lola Edwards, Mrs. Everlean Jordan, Mrs. Matilda Garlin, Mr. James Edwards and Rev. Wendell Edwards.

     She leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Alex (Barbara Greene) Jarvis, Covington, Georgia, grandson, Mr. William A. Carter, Richmond, Virginia, granddaughter, Ms. Ashley S. Jarvis, Covington, Georgia, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
