Mrs. Kay Young, age 61, of Shady Dale, GA passed away September 5, 2013.  She was born November 13, 1951 in Pikeville, Tennessee to the late Newton and Frances Ritchey.  Mrs. Young was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She worked at Doctor Lisa Miller’s office for a number of years.  Mrs. Young attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Newborn.  She enjoyed spending time with her family; she loved animals and was a selfless person who gave of her time, love and energy to help other.

Mrs. Young is survived by her husband Mr. David W. Young, Sr. her sons and daughter-in-laws; David W. Jr. and Heidi Young of Newborn, Nathan and Jessica Young of Shady Dale and Josh Young also of Shady Dale along with her five grandchildren Jacob, Riley, Madison, Tucker and Jackson.  She is also survived by her sister and brothers and their spouses; Beverly and Brints Holland of Pikeville, TN, Michael and Rhonda Ritchey of Bakewell, TN, and Mark and Joanne Ritchey of Pikeville, TN.

Funeral services for Mrs. Young will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Sorrells officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 3:00pm prior to the service Saturday at the church. Interment will be held at Rigsby Cemetery in Pikeville, TN on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 2:00pm.  J.C.
