SNYDER

Mrs. Juanita "Jeannie" R. Snyder age 59 of Covington passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009. She was born June 9, 1949 in El Paso Texas to Tony and Lydia (Trevino) Singer. Mrs. Snyder attended Canaan Baptist Church and was a volunteer at Repairers of the Breach. She had worked for 12 years at Walmart in Covington before becoming disabled. She enjoyed collecting ceramics and antiques. Jeannie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Snyder is survived by her husband: Jon D. Snyder of Covington; children: Cynthia E. Lyda, Jon M. Snyder and Stephen C. Snyder all of Covington; grandchildren: James Tyler Lyda, Michael L. Lyda, Cameron T. Snyder, Myka A. Lyda, Riley M. A. Snyder all of Covington; parents: Tony and Lydia T. Singer of San Antonio, Texas; brothers: Frank A. Singer, Raymond Singer and Ralph Singer; sisters: Marie Garcia and Linda Singer all of San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by a baby son, and was expecting a new granddaughter, Samira June Snyder, in September.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, May 16, 2009 from 12-2 PM. The funeral service for Mrs. Snyder will be held graveside at 2:30PM, Saturday, May 16, 2009 with Rev. Kenneth Jacques and Dr. Scott Cauldill officiating. Interment will be in Lawnwood Memorial Park in Covington Georgia.
