Mrs. Helen Knight, 84, of Covington passed away September 15, 2012.  She was born in Waycross, Georgia to the late Ocie Clark and Corrine Piper Lowe on February 25, 1928.  Mrs. Knight was a member of Cornish Mountain Baptist Church; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed crocheting, and ceramics.  Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Bennie Knight.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law; Elaine and Horace Bowden and Lynda and Johnny Allen all of Covington along with her grandchildren and their spouses; Kim and Matt Gunnin, Kevin and Carrie Bowden, Jana and Wyn Fuller and Julie and James Welch and her great grandchildren; Cord Gunnin, Conner Gunnin, Emma Floyd, Sarah Floyd, Taylor Welch, Helen Welch, Ellie Welch and Mayson Bowden.

Funeral services for Mrs. Knight will be held at 11 O’clock Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Vester Maughon officiating.  Interment will follow at Cornish Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4pm until 6pm Sunday, September 16, 2012.  J.C.
