Obituary      

  Mr. Roscoe Leslie, Sr. was born November 19, 1932 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Walter (Christine) Leslie in Newton County.

      He  was educated in the Newton County School System, he was a Master Mason and was a great employee at the Ford Motor Company in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was employed for many years and retired. Roscoe Sr. was a giving person with a good heart, who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

      Roscoe Sr. was  preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Donna Nolley, one granddaughter, Ms. Brandice Leslie and one son-in-law, Mr. Larry Hardeman. He departed this  earthly life on May 25, 2013.

       He leaves to cherish his memory with his lovely wife, Mrs. Willie Eva Leslie, son, Mr. & Mrs. Roscoe (Mable) Leslie Jr; daughters, Mr. & Mrs. Harrison (Beverly) Lawley, Mrs. Alberta Hardeman, Mrs. Claudette Thomas, Mrs. Paulette Leslie, Mr. & Mrs. Harold  (Bonnie) Baker, Mr. & Mrs. Terry (Deborah) Dawson, Mr. & Mrs. Adrian (Jennifer) Mcknight, Ms. Michelle Leslie, one aunt, Mrs. Corine Berry, one son-in-law, Mr. Clifton Nolley, seventeen  grandchildren, eighteen  great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

 

Acknowledgements

It is with grateful hearts we acknowledge the many acts of love and kindness shown to us during the  passing of our loved one. We could not face these  lonely days without your presence and your consideration. May God bless each of you, as you have blessed us with your kindness.
