Mark Jeffries, age 41 of Covington, passed away July 15, 2014. Mark was a true Believer who loved the Lord Jesus with all of his heart. He was an accomplished bass fisherman and loved to hunt. He had a great sense of humor, and was a talented cook, guitarist and singer. Mark enjoyed spoiling his nieces and nephews, and he cherished his time with Mary McCullough, the person closest to his heart. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his father, William Dee “Junior” Jeffries.
Survivors include his beloved mother, Noami Jeffries; sweetheart, Mary McCullough; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hope and Billy McCullough, Amanda and Wes Ardiel, Christa and Josh Mann, all of Covington; nieces and nephews, Joseph, Megan and Abigail McCullough, Mayla, Naomi and Dawson Ardiel and Navia Mann.
Funeral Services for Mark will be held Friday, July 18, 2014, 3 p.m., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. David Yancey officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, two hours prior to the service, from 1– 3 p.m.
