Obituary

     Mr. Johnny Lamar Freeman (Little Hat) was born August 24, 1953 to the late Mr. Raves Freeman and Mrs. Lois (Kimball)  Freeman in Newton County.

    He departed his earthly life February 21, 2015; Johnny attended R. L. Cousins School. As a child, Johnny loved spending his summer days visiting his grandparents, Mr. Joe and Mrs. Mary Maud Donald in Starrsville. He loved playing in the open field with his brothers and cousins. As Johnny grew up he became a huge fan of Drag Racing. He was employed at Guardian for 25 years where he would later met the Love of his life and wife, Ms. Teresa L. Hardeman in 1986 and later married on March 6, 1994. He joined Early Hope Ministries where he served faithfully until the Lord saw fit to call him home.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Raves (Lois) Freeman, two sisters, Ms. Betty J. Freeman and Mrs. Mary E. Henderson.

    He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife, Mrs. Teresa L. Freeman, children, Cameron Price, Carmmissia Hardeman, Jasmine Davis and his Pudding, Jocelyn Hardeman, two brothers, Mr. & Mrs. Ravis (Vera) Freeman, Jr. and Elder & Mrs. Willie Ralph (Vickie) Freeman, mother-in-law, Mrs. Mamie R. Hardeman, four brothers-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Johnny (Rosemary) Hardeman, Mr. & Mrs. Curtis (Dorothy) Hardeman, Mr. & Mrs. Larry (Natasha) Hardeman and Mr. & Mrs. David (Shirleen) Hardeman, four sisters-in-law, Ms. Sara Hardeman, Mr. & Mrs. Larry (Cynthia) Norman, Mr. & Mrs. Curtis (Stephanie) Crawford and Ms. Casheral Hardeman and a host of aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
