 His Birth

           Mr. Eckerd Mark Hart was born on September 22, 1958 to the late Mr. Edgar Baynes and Ms. Nettie Hart, in Newton County. He was the fourth of six children. A brother preceded him in death, Mr. Walker Hart.


 His Life

           Eckerd was affectionately called "Toot" by his family and friends. He was raised and educated in Jasper and Newton Counties. A very hard worker, he was employed by Georgia Building Authority in Atlanta, Georgia. Eckerd joined Springfield Baptist Church at an early age, where he served faithfully on many Auxillary Boards, Deacon Board and Male Chorus.

His Final Journey

          God sent an angel to call our beloved Mr. Eckerd Mark Hart home. He leaves to cherish his memories, four sisters,  Ms. Kathyrn Hardeman, Ms. Geneva Hart, Mr. & Mrs. Kevin (Zell) Heard and Ms. Betty Hart, one aunt, Ms. Willie F. Henson, a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, two devoted friends, Mr. Donald Huff and Mr. Greg Smith, a host of other relatives and friends.
